You are already Whole

“The Root Of Suffering Is Attachment”

BUDDHA

Believe it or not, attachment to external things bring’s about one’s own destruction. These attachments form into clusters, which then bind one’s self image to these things. One then believes their worthiness is determined in these matters, and thus judges themselves by how they perform in these external things. The end result being that one never reaches the path of enlightenment, or happiness.

Changing the Code

Often the way we do things in this day and age, is to find a meaning to our life. We go into things or places, hoping to ‘find ourselves’, and although lots of knowledge can be gained by going through this avenue, ultimately it is like sitting on a see saw.

We must aim to rather go into things with the spirit of worthiness. I am doing these things because I AM worthy. I already AM whole, and these things or matters have no say on my ultimate meaning in life.

Forgive yourself

Whatever has happened in the past and however many opportunities you believe you have messed up, it does not matter. This was all meant to be. Those experiences, no matter how trivial they may have been, all were there to teach you what you needed.

Self-abasement is like sneezing on someone who has a flu, in hope of them recovering. We must not beat ourselves up over past or current mistakes.

We must aim to learn and forgive ourselves. This is the only way we can start to take back control.

Love is the answer

We should all aim to operate with true love to nature and to one another, and of course, to ourselves!

When we open up and embody love we will truly be able to such out the zest of life.

We already are whole, we have just forgotten. It is time to remember the lost knowledge and reclaim our birthright as an immortal soul.

The Simple Life

A simple life may be exactly what is missing in the world. Our lives are clogged up by lots of things to do and lots to think about. We are kept in a perpetual state of busyness when in essence we are in a very idle state. We think we are achieving something but later down the line we kind of realize just how much of our lives we have wasted.

CONTRASTING LIVES

We often hear stories of those in the poorest regions of the world; who have nothing to their name; who are walking in feces and swimming in infested waters; who have little to eat or drink; and who wake up every day not knowing if they will be alive at the end of it; it is often these people that are the most happiest. They seem to truly appreciate the small things in life. They realize life is too short to spend in an unnatural state, and often they find their truest version of themselves, they find salvation.

On the other hand, here you have the rich man. He has endless abundance you can only wish for; unlimited amounts of money, women, items; a big house; a fleet of cars; a cult-like following worldwide; yet these people are actually some of the most depressed people on Earth. They spend their time taking endless amounts of drugs and doing all sorts of crazy things to keep the pain of life away. In essence, they are never satisfied with life and always want more; and once they achieve what they set out to, they feel empty, it just was not as it seems. You will hear a lot on the news how these people end up committing suicide or some accident occurs; despite their abundance, they are living their own funeral.

Why is this the case? Surely it should be the other way round?

Life works in mysterious ways

THE GETAWAY

I have often heard in many religious scriptures and eastern philosophy of how simple lives use to be in the past. People would live with just enough to eat and would spend their time perfecting their use of reason; being good people, doing good things, thinking clean thoughts, in essence purifying their souls. Is it a coincidence that many of us end up seeking out these regions to ‘find ourselves’?

The life a lot of people live now is full of doing things. Always busy, so much to do, and as the common saying goes ‘It’s always good to be busy’. But is it?

Being busy doing things which in 5/10/20 years’ time you will despise?

It’s clear something is wrong here

EXTERNALS WILL NEVER PLEASE US

Ultimately these thing we are seeking out are just adding to the fog and confusion of life. We occupy ourselves with so much garbage that we lose track of why we are really here. Much like trying to multi-task, we are just not concentrating on the job at large.

That job, to live and live with a pure soul.

Let us simplify and cut out the nonsense. Let us begin to appreciate the small things of life and be content with what you have.

Let us observe the moment, and do nothing, nothing needs to be done, nothing needs to happen, just let it be and do… nothing.

The answers all arrive in silence.
